You are probably wondering “why should I care about putting on the heating when it is lovely and warm outside?” Believe us when we say that your future self will thank you, once the weather turns colder around late September and your heating and hot water is working well.
At the end of every summer, every plumber is inundated with calls of broken down boilers, no heating and no hot water. This is normal since the heating has been off for many months. Of course these things happen although why not save yourself the stress, last minute cost and the likely long waiting time by servicing your boiler earlier this year (yes that means now even in the hot weather!).
More often than not it is generally a lot easier to maintain an existing boiler once it is regularly serviced and not when it breaks down (this involves a lot more work and cost). So don’t put your boiler service on the back burner (excuse the pun). You wouldn’t delay your doctor or dentist check-up and so it should be the same for the boiler that keeps you and family nice and warm.
